Celebrating the beauty of every season.
We’ve been casual growers for a long time. We started with herbs and a few vegetables in the small back yard of our townhouse in Florida. Then we bumped up to a larger plot and started our first “real” garden in Michigan. We grew every veggie we could think of, and a flowers were not a thought.
Fast forward a few years (okay, a decade) to our lives now in Maryland. We’ve always been drawn to work in the dirt, so we planted a vineyard, but couldn’t dedicate the time and finesse grapes required with full time jobs. But we still planted our veggies, and kept improving and expanding every year.
Once our daughter (aka Little Bird) was born in 2021, we continued planting, but needed to be “smarter” with our time. We began to use landscape fabric to manage weed pressure, and started to experiment with a few flowers; dahlias, zinnias, and cosmos. After giving the flowers a few rows as a trial, we set up a farm stand to offer small bouquets and surplus veggies to our immediate community.
Then we were hooked.
Patrons loved the flowers on the stand, and we started getting custom bouquet requests.
The flower farm was expanded into full effort in 2026 to bring more beautiful, local, and sustainable blooms to our community. We believe in growing seasonal blooms and greenery that bring all the beauty and calm of the garden to your space. You can find our bouquets on the farm stand and at local events in Maryland and Northern Virginia.
